The newly elected Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wa West Constituency, Mr. Daniel Vuur, has pledged to champion issue-based political engagement as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s communication strategy and deepen public participation.
Speaking in an interview with Radio MAK following his election, Mr. Vuur said effective political communication thrives on teamwork and collective ideas. He announced plans to establish a dedicated communications team made up of individuals with diverse skills and expertise to improve the party’s engagement with members and the general public.
According to him, the team will focus on delivering accurate, factual, and constructive information that reflects the vision, policies, and activities of the NPP while encouraging healthy political discourse in the constituency.
Mr. Vuur explained that he intends to maximize both traditional and digital media by actively participating in radio discussion programmes and leveraging social media platforms to reach a broader audience, particularly the youth.
He noted that one of his key priorities as Communications Officer is to contribute to the growth and development of the NPP in the Wa West Constituency through effective communication, public education, and issue-based political engagement.
Expressing his gratitude after emerging victorious in the constituency elections, Mr. Vuur described his election as more than a personal success, saying it reflects the confidence party members have in his commitment, resilience, perseverance, and years of hard work.
He thanked delegates and party supporters for entrusting him with the responsibility and assured them that he would work tirelessly to justify the confidence they have reposed in him.
Mr. Vuur further pledged to work in the best interest of both the party and the people of Wa West by fostering unity among party members and using his persuasive communication skills to attract more people to join the New Patriotic Party.
He expressed optimism that through teamwork, discipline, and effective communication, the party would become stronger and better positioned to achieve its objectives in the constituency.
