The General Overseer of Zion Community Church and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Missions Network, Dr. Moses Sansah Konjon, has handed over a newly constructed single-room house to a disaster victim in Wechiau-Bao, Wa West District.

The beneficiary, a widow identified as Madam Dokaara, was among residents affected by a heavy rainstorm last year that ripped off the roofs of about 38 houses in the farming community within the Sanuori Electoral Area.

The completed single-room building was officially handed over together with a high density mattress to improve the living condition of the beneficiary after the disaster deepened her woes.

In June 2025, Frontier Missions Network, led by Apostle Dr. Konjon, donated about five packs of roofing sheets to provide temporary shelter for the widow while plans were made for a permanent structure.

Explaining his intervention, Apostle Dr. Konjon said the plight of the widow, as narrated to him by the Assemblymember for the area, deeply touched him, compelling him to act.

He further announced that monthly support would be provided to the widow to help stabilize her livelihood.

Borehole Renovation

In a related development, the philanthropist, Moses Sansah Konjon, officially commissioned a rehabilitated borehole for the people of Wechiau-Bao.

The borehole which was constructed in 1988 had suffered a major breakdown, prompting the Assemblyman of the area to seek for support as many people struggled to have access to potable water. Following appeals by the community, Dr. Konjon and his church responded positively to fix the borehole to improve water supply in the area.

The District Chief Executive for Wa West District, Richard Wulo, who was at the commissioning, lauded the philanthropist for rehabilitating the borehole for the people.

He noted that Wa West is a vast district where access to potable water remains a major challenge for many communities. He indicated that the rehabilitation of the borehole is a timely intervention that will help save lives and significantly improve living conditions in the area.

Hon. Wulo, while expressing gratitude to the philanthropist, also appealed for further support in the form of additional development projects across the district.

Widows & Orphans Care Programme

Meanwhile, Dr. Sansah Konjon also established a care programme for widows and orphans in the Sanuori Electoral Area as part of efforts to improve their health and livelihoods.

Apostle Sansah Konjon said he remains committed to doing more to improve the lives of the less privileged in society having spent about four decades in supporting vulnerable persons.
