Filed by: Ibrahim Muniru

The Executive Director of Youth Placement and Employability Solutions Ghana (Y-PES), Mr. Mumuni Sulemana, has been honoured by the Busa Youth Association as a Developmental Change Agent at their annual homecoming event in the Upper West Region.

The award, according to the organisers, is a recognition of Mr. Sulemana’s consistency, hard work and unwavering dedication to youth development, particularly within the Busa Traditional Area.

Mr. Sulemana, who also the Properiator of Senior Victory College, a leading private basic school in the Wa Municipality, has over the years demonstrated strong commitment to education, youth empowerment and skills development across the region.

In his acceptance remarks, he urged young people not to overly depend on politicians for their future but rather take responsibility for their own destinies through hard work and self-determination. “Every young person must strive to brighten his or her own corner. Education remains pivotal and critical in that journey,” he said.

The Y-PES boss noted that although Busa has produced many prominent and influential personalities in Ghana, this success is yet to be reflected in the overall development of the community.

According to him, the time has come for the youth to rally behind all stakeholders, especially traditional authorities, to redefine the development trajectory of Busa by harnessing its enormous human and natural potentials for socio-economic and political advancement.

Mr. Sulemana assured the youth of his continuous support and expressed profound gratitude to the Busa Youth Association for the recognition.
